Information on the waterways

Waterways :
The locks on the Yonne (direction Auxerre), Canal de Bourgogne and Canal du Nivernais are open daily from 9am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 7 pm. On the Yonne direction Paris and on the Canal de Briare, the locks are open daily from 9am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 6 pm.

The locks are closed on 1st May, 14th July opened on the 14th of july on Canal du Nivernais), on the Yonne and the Canal de Briare also on 1st November. There are lock keepers on most of the locks. On the Yonne, the locks are mechanical, on the Canal du Nivernais and the Canal de Bourgogne are manual locks.
