Saône: Locks are open daily from 6 am to 9 pm with lock keeper. It is a legal requirement to wear life jackets in the big locks. The locks on the Canal du Centre, Seille and Saône are closed the 1st May and 1st November, on the Seille also on the 14th July. If the crew knows how to use the lock, it can be done by themselves during public holidays.
