Starting out formalities:

Departure days between 2 and 6 pm.

Return day between 8 and 9am.

 Boarding:

As soon as the boat is ready.
On site:

WC and shower according to the opening hours of the base, picnic area, free WiFi for Locaboat clients (ask at the harbour office for the access code).

How to get to the base

Access:

  • From west and south: A36 – E60 exit 4 Vesoul Besançon Saint Claude, then N57 direction Vesoul then D1 direction Cussey and continue on D3 (50 km)
    From the east: A36 – E60 exit 11 Vesoul Héricourt, N1019 + D438 + N19, after Vesoul left on D23 towards Scey sur Saône (83 km)
    From the north: A31 – E21 exit 7 Vesoul, then N19 – E54 + D3 (70 km)
  • Vesoul regional train station (21 km)
  • Basel-Mulhouse airport (150 km)

Information on the waterways

Waterways :
Petite Saône (between Corre and St. Symphorien): Automatic Locks (with lock keeper in the season) open 9 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30-7 pm, closed on 1st May and 1st November.

Canal des Vosges: Automatic locks, open 9am-7pm, closed on 1st May and 1st November. From Fontenoy manual locks with lock keeper.
On the Saône it is obligatory to wear life jackets when passing the big locks.

Grande Saône: Locks open 9am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-7pm, arm warmers compulsory in large-gauge locks.
