Starting out formalities:

Departure days between 2 and 6pm.                                            Return day between 8 and 9am.

 Boarding:

As soon as the boat is ready.
On site:

WC and shower according to the opening hours of the base.

As free parking is limited to 48 hours in the commune, it is essential to leave your vehicle in our closed parking lot.

As the number of covered parking spaces is limited, reservations must be made by e-mail with the base.

Gastronomic specialities:

  • Cassoulet from Castelnaudary, wild boar casserole, venison stew, duck émincé, barbecue on wood fire, brochettes, Coq au vin.

  • The red and white wines of Minervois, Corbières, la Clape, Fitou, Saint Chinian. Muscat and Carthagène.
To see:

  • At Argens: pool and top of the village; at Lézignan: exhibition centre, the village of Minerve with the figurine museum Hurepel and the archeological and palaeontological museum.
 Fishing:

  • Fishing licence must be reserved via internet at: cartedepeche.fr (also in English). Further information at the base.

Information on the waterways

Waterways:
The locks on the Canal du Midi are automatic with the help of lock keepers. On the Canal de la Robine, the locks are automatic with a lock keeper for 4 locks. They are open from 9 am to 12 pm and 1 to 7 pm. Closed on the 1st of May.
The Étang de Thau cannot be crossed when the wind is stronger than 3 beaufort. On the Lez and Canal du Rhône à Sète, the few locks are automatic. Please note: the lift bridge at Frontignan is only opened for a few minutes two times a day (8.30am and 4pm).
